Daffodil Grand Floral Parade 2025

SATURDAY, APRIL 5^TH, 2025

TACOMA SECTION

To offload your parade cars, drive your support/tow vehicles to the Stellar Industrial Supply parking lot at 711 E 11^th St, Tacoma, WA.

Starting in Tacoma, we will meet at 11^th & St. Paul where we are to stage at our number (66).

Parade marshals will be there to guide you in. It will help to wear your fez or verbally identify that you are with Shriners.

The parade departs for our section at approximately 0930 from the parking area, which means it would be helpful to be lined up and ready to go at 0800 or earlier.

 

 

PARADE ROUTE MAP

The parade traverses down Pacific Ave and cuts left onto 24^th Ave. Parade marshals will guide your pickup vehicles between S 22^nd and S 23^rd St. Your vehicles MUST depart the parade staging area by 9:30 to get an effective place in the orange area of the map above.

STAGE YOUR SUPPORT VEHICLES AT THE END OF THE PARADE SO WE CAN DEPART FOR PUYALLUP!

 

 

 

Driving Directions to Tacoma:

Basically, get off at Exit #134 from I-5 and take Portland Ave E northward. Then make a left onto E 11^th St and turn right into the Stellar Industrial Supply Parking lot.

If you are not offloading a vehicle, head down 11^th and join us at our staging area on St. Paul near marker 66.

 

From Tacoma’s final drop area, we will then drive immediately to Puyallup.

Support vehicles will drop off at First Christian Church’s Parking Lot at

623 9^th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA

 

PUYALLUP SECTION

Directions to Puyallup from Tacoma:

 

1. Proceed south on S 24th St/Puyallup Avenue. Turn right on Portland Ave. – stay in

middle lane to East 28th St.

 

2.Turn left on East 28th. Get in the right lane to Puyallup Exit (River Road/SR 767).

 

3.Go east on River Road several miles to Puyallup. NOTE: Floats are escorted in the left

traffic lane with width overflowing into the two-way turn lane. This allows traffic to pass the floats freely on the right.

 

4.Turn right prior to the Toyota dealership onto 15th Street NW

 

5.At the end of 15th Street, turn left onto West Stewart Avenue.

 

6.Turn right and cross the railroad tracks at 12th St NW (school bus garage). Turn right onto West Pioneer Avenue at Maplewood Elementary.

 

7.One block later, turn left onto 13th St SW.

 

8.Turn left onto 7th Ave SW. A parade marshal will be on 7th Ave to direct your float and support vehicles. All parade entries will be lining up on 7th Ave. SW.

 

We will find our number (66) and proceed to that area on 7^th Ave. Parade Marshals will assist.

 

PARADE STARTS PROMPTLY AT 12:45

After completing the parade, participants will walk south in front of Meeker Elementary

School and then through Sparks Stadium parking lot back to the Support/Rider vehicles

at First Christian Church.

Parade Marshals will be positioned to give specific exit instructions for parade vehicles

going to Sumner.

 

 

Directions to Sumner:

SUMNER SECTION

Directions from Puyallup to Sumner:

1. Exit the church parking lot and turn right.

2.Turn right again on 9th St SW – heading north.

3.Turn right on West Pioneer – heading east.

4.Turn left on 5th St SW – heading north.

5.Turn right on W Main Ave.

Once you are on West Main Avenue, park your support and royalty vehicles at the right

curb. Floats will be passing you on the left. Parade marshals are there to help. When your

float arrives; they will stop at the left curb of West Main Ave just long enough for

passengers to disembark.

 

 

Support Vehicles follow these directions:

1. Sumner – Turn right on Thompson St and left on Station Lane (first left).
2. Turn left on Station Lane and enter Train Station drop area.
3. After dropping off your riders, turn right on Academy St and park on side streets

near Valley Ave or continue to Valley Ave and turn left to the high school stadium

parking lot just past Main St.

PARADE STARTS AT 2:30PM

We will finish the Sumner Parade in the Fred Meyer parking lot, where we will have a bit more time to get to the Orting Parade, which starts at 5PM.

ORTING SECTION

From Sumner:

All Entries that are not Bands/Busses or Floats, will turn Left into Sunset Chev stadium parking lot to be routed to Valley ave. and continue to Orting travelling South on 410. We will follow the Pink Route to stage in the correct direction.

All of our units will park in the Orting High School Parking lot where we will offload and begin staging on Van Scoyac and Bridge St (we will look for our Parade Number and be guided by Marshals).

Afterwards, we will depart our separate ways!
