DESCRIPTION:  \nPaul Bunyan Grand Parade 2025\nShelton\, WA \nArrival: 8:30AM \nStaging Location:  Marker #29 on 9th and Railroad. \n  \n \nDirections:  From US 101\, take the Shelton City Center/Matlock exit.  If traveling northbound\, turn right onto Railroad Ave; from southbound\, turn right onto Railroad Ave.  Follow Railroad Ave to the check-in booth ( 7th and Railroad).  Please allow time for getting to your staging area. \n-Check-in:  Is located at 7th and Railroad Ave. Please check in when you arrive.  Check-in and pre-staging begins at 7:30 a.m. Pre-staging is only needed for those units that take an extended time to set up (festival floats\, etc.).  All other entries should plan to arrive before 9:00 a.m.  Festival Floats\, the judging will begin at approximately 9:40 a.m.  All other applicable entries will be judged along the parade route.  — Drivers may unload on Railroad and then move the towing vehicles to Franklin near Loop Field. \n-Entry number: At check-in\, you will be given your printed entry number (which must be displayed on the front left of the entry) and directed to your staging area.  For staging\, entry numbers are located on small cones next to where you will assemble. There will be parade officials throughout the staging area should you have any questions. \n-When parade begins: The parade begins at 11 a.m. and you will be directed when to leave your staging area onto the parade route.  Please remember that “gaps are bad.”  When you are directed to start down the parade route\, please remain the same distance from the unit in front of you throughout the parade. \n-Awards: We hope to be able to hand out pre-judged awards as you start down the parade route.  All awards will be available at the logging show -Forest Festival booth after 1:00 p.m. \nMake plans to stay and enjoy the Logging Show at Loop Field.  The competition starts at 1:00 p.m.  While you’re there\, please visit the vendors. \nParade reminders: \n\n\nNo throwing candy or other items from floats or vehicles.    Please have walkers hand candy directly to spectators (this helps keep kids safe). \n\n\nNo Bull horns or loud speakers to yell at the crowd. \n\n\nBy participating in the parade\, you are agreeing to have your photo taken and used. \n\n\nBe Safe and Be Kind. \n\n\n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Hazel Dell 2025\nSaturday 5/17/2025\nTheme: \n\n\n“Band Together for a Better Tomorrow”\n\nStage at 9:00AM @ 8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue\, Hazel Dell\, WA \nParade STARTS at 10:30AM \nWe are invited to enjoy Coffee & Donuts from Hazel Dell Lion’s Club at the Clark County Fire District 6 Firehouse\, near our staging location. \n\nOn parade day\, all parade entries must enter the parade area from 99th Street south onto Hazel Dell Avenue. Entries will be directed to the Registration Area at 94th Street to check in and receive their numbers for staging prior to lining up for the parade. \n \n \nParade Route\n \n\nParade participants are responsible for clearing any debris or garbage they produce from the staging area and along the parade route.\nThrowing of candy\, food or other material from floats or any mechanical or animal drawn vehicle is strictly prohibited. Items may only be handed out to individuals. Please do not use squirt guns\, water balloons\, silly string or similar materials on people watching the parade.\n Speed within the staging area may not exceed five miles per hour (5 MPH). Participants must slow down to prevent injuries from occurring. Vehicles not in the parade are not allowed in the Registration Area due to the volume of parade entries.\n\nWe have been asked by the Parade Organizers to please make haste and not delay the parade as much as possible\, especially towards the end of the parade @ 78th and Hwy 99.
